How to play: the 3 golden rules

Every valid grid follows three constraints. Learn them once and each empty cell becomes a pure logic deduction.

  • 1

    No run of three

You cannot place three identical symbols in a row, horizontally or vertically.

Two suns in a row? The next cell must be a moon.

  • 2

    Balanced 50/50 lines

On a 6×6 board, each row and column holds exactly three of each symbol.

Already three of one symbol? Fill the rest with the other.

  • 3

    Neighbor constraints

Green = and blue × markers between cells tell you whether neighbors match or differ.

    = same symbol · × opposite symbols.

What is TanglyGame?

TanglyGame is a free browser puzzle in the Takuzu / Binairo family: you fill a 6×6 grid with two symbols using pure logic—no guessing and no account required. Neighbor markers (= and ×) tell you when adjacent cells must match or differ, while each row and column must stay balanced with exactly three of each symbol and never three identical symbols in a row.

The game is designed for short daily brain training. You can turn on error highlighting, undo moves, switch symbol themes, and track your solve time. Everything runs locally in your browser, which keeps the experience fast on phones and desktops alike.

Who is it for?

TanglyGame suits beginners learning logic grids for the first time as well as experienced Takuzu fans who want a clean, ad-light interface. Teachers and parents can use the written guides below to explain the rules without spoiling puzzles.
